“Make me some brilliant, amazing, creative, viral ads,” says your boss. Or your client.

So you go through dozens of ad examples, spy on competitors, and even ask ChatGPT for ideas.

But the ideas don’t come. “Maybe I’m just not creative,” you think.
Well, I’m here to tell you: you are creative.

👉
BUT. As a creative marketers, we can’t wait around for inspiration. We have deadlines.

That’s why advertising pros use techniques and formulas to get unstuck.
Usually, they don’t talk much about those techniques.
Because they want their process to seem magical. Mysterious.

But in reality, even the greatest ads are based on the same frameworks.
What changes is the context and the human insight behind them.

On this website, I share the everything I’ve learned while making ads for tech companies like Semrush, HiBob, AppsFlyer, and Riverside, as well as consumer brands like Coke, Burger King, Michelin, and many others.

And if you’re new here, I recommend starting with my best tutorials:

How to use Nano Banana to make memorable ad visuals
Oh, Nano Banana. The greatest AI image tool. Here are 12 ways I use it to make ads: 01. Change Hairstyle Prompt: Mess up her hair so it looks like a full-on bad hair day: Uneven volume, frizzy strands, pieces sticking out in random directions and covering her face. 02.
How to write and produce realistic AI video ads that actually convert
I created an AI ad for HiBob. It brought in so many leads that we’re now turning it into a CTV ad.
How to use literary devices to write sticky headlines
I went through 300+ brand taglines. Most of them use one of these 24 rhetorical devices.
How to create pattern-breaking LinkedIn ads
My process for creating B2B ads that get noticed: Message → Image → Headline → Validation → Captions.
How to announce new features so that people actually notice
I’m thrilled and honored to share this copywriting technique with you.
